...no it's your lack thereof

Ricky is really enjoying his online college classes.
His fellow students provide plenty of comedic relief.
Here is a real excerpt from this week's forum discussion.....

Student 1: "...schools are a big issue."
Student 2: "Schools is another problem in my area as well."
Student 3: "Here in North Carolina Education is a major problem."
Student 4: "Education is a major problem everywhere."
Student 5: "If education is such a high expense why dont thay use there heads and switch things up already.?"
........ after thought
Student 5: "I live in Wisconsin and as we all are aware of education is an on going problem not only here but in other states as well."

Throwing the Book

Why is the term "Throwing the book" used to negatively?
Doesn't the original text contain truth?
Is it because it expresses a truth that embarrasses someone else for their actions?

Heaven forbid I should be the one to clarify between assumptions, mistakes and intentional insubordination.

An example would be my husband's job at the jail. --
He locks down inmates who break the rules set forth in the handbook. Occasionally he's called out on one of his choices job requirements, "A three day lock down? Why so harsh?" To which he replies, "If you didn't really mean for me to do so, why did you establish that rule in your very own writing?"

There are many ways to "Throw the book". There are laws in our country, laws set forth by God, rules set forth by our jobs, social know hows and so forth.

These "books" were set forth to become a standard of conduct.
If a watered down version of these standards was meant, it would be written that way in the first place.
(at least exceptions would have been included in the foot notes)

It seems to me that too many people sheepishly avoid conflict by not bringing attention to truth and not upholding it like the standard it was originated to be, eventually "throwing the book" became socially derogatory to do.

The result - No one is operating at the lowest standard.
Lines of right and wrong have become blurred due to too many exceptions, assumptions and misquotes.

It's a lazy form of existence.

I think if we actually went back and ingrained the original content....
We might get something done around here.

Satan, destroying within

My heart has been so full of questions.

I think satan is attacking our homes. I think he wants to make us believe we are less important than we really are. We were created by God, who holds the most supreme power. One who knows how to love perfectly, without conditions or fear. A God who sees things for what they really are and who understnads what we were really meant to become.

We become deceived by satan. Our self assurance is slowly taken away. We loose interest in the right choices. Soon we are looking at the world through darker lenses.
Eyes that are less motivated and happy than they used to be.

He is oh, so subtle.

Finding another excuse.....
It is a trick.
Maybe satan would have us believe that there is something wrong with our perceptions of life.

There he really is... whispering.

Sowing seeds of destruction that don't need to be found immediately to become effective. They will be uncovered in their own time with the proper nourishment of neglect.

He is hitting us hard. Erasing the ability for men to accept the gospel or to be worthy of holding the power of God before they even come into contact with opportunity of gospel advancements.

I need to be praying for all of these people. I need to ask blessings for them by name.
My list would be so long, how do I do it?

Maybe satan does not exist?
No - don't kid yourself, just look around.
